I think I’d like to come and see a counsellor but what do I do now…

How much does counselling cost?
Initial meeting £35 (introductory session)
Subsequent sessions £40 (50 minute sessions)
Couples sessions £50
Students (inc. Counselling/Psychotherapy students) £35

Some concessions are available for students and those on a low income.
Special rates are also available for those in the armed services who are experiencing PTSD. I am a trained REWIND practitioner.
Please ask as there is always room for negotiation. Charges are reviewed annually.

Please note that if you fail to keep an appointment with less than 24 hours notice you will be required to pay 50% fee. A deposit is required at the first full session, this is normally returned at the end of counselling.

I accept referrals directly from companies and will invoice them. I have worked with clients on issues such as work-related stress, depression, anger, self esteem, relationship issues, redundancy and retirement concerns.

Where and when will you see me?

I am located in Up Hatherley, Cheltenham, not far from the centre of town and about fifteen minutes from Junction 10 of the M5. I am easily reached from Gloucester, Bishops Cleeve and Churchdown.

I have a dedicated counselling room in my house, which is in a cul-de-sac. The area is quiet and the room has a calm, pleasant atmosphere. There is easy parking and the venue is close to the local bus routes. The room is possibly not suitable for disabled access, but please ask.

Counselling is available weekdays and evenings, but not weekends. You will usually see me on the same day and at the same time each week although this will be discussed and agreed together after the introductory session.
